The 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Dharampeth Mahila Multistate Co-operative Society was held on August 30, 2026, at Sitaram Bhavan Auditorium, Ramnagar Square, Shivajinagar. The meeting saw a record attendance of 1,510 dignitaries, directors, staff, and shareholders, beginning with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and a heartfelt tribute to Founder and Chief Advisor late Kishor Bawane.
During the meeting, Society Chairperson Sarika Pendse shared key financial highlights for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. The society achieved a total business mix of Rs 2,264 crore, recording a net profit of Rs 8,36 crore.
In light of this performance, a 9 per cent dividend was declared.
Outlining future initiatives, Pendse announced plans to increase loan disbursements to women and launch a children’s savings bank initiative across schools to foster financial literacy early on.
Vice President Anagha Vaidya presented the meeting agenda, which was passed unanimously by voice vote. Founder Nilima Bawane concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the support of members, staff, and media.
