THE family has received only “half justice”, the father of slain Haryanvi singer Ankit Balyan said on Monday after the police encounter that killed two of the four suspected sharpshooters. The remaining two must also be killed, he said, asserting that only then will the family receive “complete justice.” Reacting to the encounter, Singh told PTI Videos, “We would like to thank the police for this action.

 

We have received half justice, and the other half should be delivered soon.” Ankit’s sister, Reena, expressed a feeling of partial satisfaction following the recent encounter, but she emphasised that the family would not feel completely content until all involved are dealt with. Ankit’s wife, Seema, also acknowledged the encounter as a source of relief but underscored that the situation is far from resolved, as the suspects seemed to operate as a gang.
