BRIDGE buffs from Orange City
and those from neighbouring
districts within Vidarbha had a
decent challenge in Hinganghat
competing in pairs and duplicate event this weekend.
Mohota were at it again exhilarating at the top with 84.04 VP.
This time around it was 11 teams
contest played in 6 rounds of 10
boards each. Team Mohota consisted of Basant Mohota, S
Chhajjed, Anilkumar Mohota
and Samir Roy.
Nagpur finished runners-up
with a tally of 77.34 VP. Nagpur
included M Mor, Puranik brothersVishnu and Arun, M Luley and
M Dutta.
Playwell finished third
by scoring 75.89 VP. Their performance came from efforts put
on by father and son duo of Raja
and Amit Rewatkar and Kumra
brothers Neeraj and Sanjeev.
In MP pairs, competing among
26 pairs, Rewatkars emerge
champions. M Luley and A
Puranik finished second.
Attractive cash prizes were
awarded to all the winners.
Anilkumar Mohota and Amit
Rewatkar were the tournament
directors for this brain game.
