ST VINCENT Pallotti and Saraswati School started their campaign on winning notes on the opening day of the District Sports Office organised Nagpur RuralTalukaFootball Tournament which commenced at Aspire International School on Monday. In the U-14 boys category, St Vincent Pallotti School, Besa defeated Podar International School, Besa 6-0. Divyansh Singh and Harsh were the standout performers, scoring three goals each.

 

In the U-19 boys category, Saraswati School defeated Bhosala Military School 4-0. Francis scored two goals, while Akash and Abhijit scored a goal each. Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by School Principal Nutan Jamil and School Administrator Dr Netra Bhatt. The tournament is being conducted under the guidance of Abhas Dhurve and Shilpa Modakfrom the Sports Department, Aspire International School.
