SENIOR Vice-President of
Maharashtra Olympic Association
and former MLA Sandip Joshi has
been elected unopposed as the
President of Maharashtra Body
Builder’s Association (MBBA).
The Annual General Meeting was
held on Wednesday at Soundarya
Garden, Wakad, Pune. The election
was held unopposed and the new body
for the period 2026 to 2030 was elected.
Previously, Padmasinh Patil, former Pune
MP; Ramkrishna More, Namdevrao Mohite
and MLA Mahesh Landge have held the
charge of this post.
In the form of the newly-elected president Joshi, this is the first
time that Vidarbha has received
this honour.
After the election, Joshi said
that his main goal will be to provide a more capable and comprehensive platform to the bodybuilding sector in Maharashtra, provide
necessary facilities and opportunities to
the athletes, and encourage talented bodybuilders from the state at the national and
international levels.
