MRUNAL Thakur and Farhan Khan slammed hat-tricks for their respective schools in the District Sports Office organised Schools’ Football Tournament (Under-17 Boys) at SFS College ground, Seminary Hills on Wednesday. Mrunal scored thrice in BKVV’s 5-0 rout of St Joseph’s, Jaitala. Tejas Niraj and Chetan Mendhe were the other goal scorers.

 

Farhan’s three goals helped Hislop College blank The South Public School 4-0. Arhan Malik scored once. Bhavan’s Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir teams recorded contrasting wins. While the Civil Lines Branch pipped The Swaminarayan 1-0 on a goal scored from VikramadityaKarnik, Trimurti Nagar Branchdrubbed St Paul’s CBSE 3-0. Akshay Rathod, Arnav Kubde andAmeya Raut found target for thewinners.
