Instagram friendship leads to rescue: In a separate case, Nishatpura police travelled to Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and safely rescued a minor girl who had allegedly been taken there by Mohammad Asif. Police said the accused befriended the girl through Instagram around six months ago and came to Bhopal on August 24 before taking her to Bareilly. Technical probe traces location: Police said the accused allegedly broke and discarded the girl’s SIM card to prevent her location from being traced. Technical investigation and other information helped police determine that she was in Bareilly. The girl was rescued safely and Asif was arrested and produced before a court on Wednesday
