ELEVEN police personnel were promoted to higher ranks following orders from the Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters, Bhopal. Superintendent of Police Sampat Upadhyay pinned the third star on the shoulders of the promoted officers at a ceremony held in the presence of senior police officials, on Wednesday. Notably, three personnel who were promoted from the rank of Subedar to Reserve Inspector include Rahul Singh, Ruma Tekam and Roshni Kesharwani. Eight personnel promoted from Sub-Inspector to Inspector were Jagruti Sahu, Sonal Pandey, Sangeeta Chaudhary, Abha Dubey, Hemant Thapa, Deepti Maravi, Shailendra Singh and Dinesh Gautam. Additional SP City Ayush Jakhar, Additional SP Headquarters Suryakant Sharma and Additional SP Traffic Akhilesh Tiwari were present during the ceremony.

 

Congratulating the newly promoted officers, SP Upadhyay praised their hard work, dedication and disciplined service. He urged them to maintain the same commitment in their new positions and work towards bringing credit to themselves and the police department. SP said their experience gained during their previous postings would prove valuable in discharging their enhanced responsibilities. He emphasised that promotion also brings greater accountability and expressed confidence that all the officers would perform their newly assigned duties responsibly and efficiently. The promoted officers expressed their commitment to continuing to serve with sincerity and dedication.
