Ramdeobaba University is set to host its first convocation ceremony on September 12, at 11 am at the RBU university
campus, marking the graduation of its first cohort of postgraduate students - a historic milestone in the University’s illustrious journey.
Chandrakant (Dada) Patil, Minister for Higher and Technical Education and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, will be the chief guest.
He will deliver convocation address in the esteemed presence of Satyanarayan Nuwal, Padma Shri awardee, Chairman, Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti, Nagpur and Solar Industries India Limited Nagpur. Dr S S Mantha, President, RBU, will preside over the ceremony.
Carrying forward the four-decade old legacy of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM), that transitioned to Ramdeobaba University (RBU) in 2024, the institution continues its tradition of excellence in engineering and management education, exemplified by its ten Centres of Excellence inclusive of the AI Centre of Competency powered by NVIDIA featuring DGX B200, one of the world’s most advanced AI supercomputing platforms.
RBU is also recognised as
an Elite Tier Google Cloud Certified Digital Campus, having officially launched Digital Campus 3.0.
Degrees will be awarded for the MBA, MCA and MTech programmes, along with medals
for academic excellence,
crowning this landmark
celebration of RBU’s first graduating cohort.
