THE Nagpur Chapter of WIRC of ICSI successfully conducted the Teacher Conference recently, at the Nagpur Chapter premises, Wardha Road. The conference was conducted in two sessions—the morning session for junior college teachers/professors/lecturers and the afternoon session for senior college professors/lecturers. The conference comprised a motivational session, technical session, and a dedicated session on ‘Career opportunities as a Company Secretary’, aimed at enriching the knowledge of educators and creating greater awareness about the Company Secretary professionals among the academic fraternity.

 

The chief guest of the morning session was Dr Manoj B Daigavane, Joint Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Regional Office, Nagpur. Jyotsna Harde, Extension Education Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Hingna, was the guest of honour and Milind Bharne, District Nodal Officer, CET Cell, Nagpur, graced the occasion as special guests. The chief guest of the afternoon session was Dr Santosh Chavhan, Joint Director, Higher Education, Nagpur Region. Sangita Tabhane, Extension Education Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Kamptee was the guest of honour and Dr Kishor G Patil, Director, Institute of Science, Nagpur, were the special guests of the session. The Nagpur Managing Committee was represented by CS Mohit Batra, Chairman; CS Monica Bhattad, Secretary; CS Khushal Bajaj, Member; CS Bhavesh Thadani, Member; and CS Sarrah Katawala, Member.

 

The conference featured eminent speakers including CS Rahul Thakwani, CS Priyanka Khandelwal, CS Shruti Hemant Purohit, and CS Sarrah Katawala, who delivered insightful sessions on various topics relevant to teachers and students. More than 100 teachers, lecturers and professors representing various schools, colleges, universities and educational institutions participated enthusiastically in the conference. The Teacher Conference concluded with a felicitation ceremony, wherein all participating teachers, lecturers and professors were felicitated with mementos and certificates of participation as a token of appreciation for their valuable participation and contribution. The Nagpur Chapter of WIRC of ICSI expressed its sincere gratitude to all the distinguished guests, eminent speakers and participating educators for making the Teacher Conference a grand success.
