Eletronic dealers showcase latest products, roll out festive schemes to woo consumers

As the electronic dealers in the city received good response for electronic household products during August 15 celebrations. This positive sentiment among the consumers has prompted them to deck up their showrooms with the latest electronic products and innovative gadgets for the Navratri and Diwali festivals.
“We are targeting 20 per cent growth in demand during, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Diwali and New Year festive season as compared to previous year,” said Nihar Taori, Director of Taori Marketing, Dharampeth while speaking to The Hitavada.
Taori further said that after August 14 and 15, there has been a tremendous rise in walk-ins and large number of enquiries are pouring in for the latest home appliances, high end LED panels, refrigerators, washing machines, mobiles, laptops and other innovative products.
“We were surprised at 15 per cent growth in demand for electronic products and home appliances during the August 15 celebrations. This boost in demand has assured us that the economy is on the growth track and the electronic and home appliances will be in great demand during the forthcoming Navratri and Diwali festivals,” he said.
Most traders are busy planning their purchases and increasing their range of products for the festive season. The manufacturers are aggressively pricing their products to compete with one another. Intense competition among the manufacturers will benefit the consumers, he said.
A prominent electronic dealer, Gaurav Pahawa, Director of Lotus Electronics, said that demand for products with additional features has increased in the current season. “People are ready to pay extra to upgrade their products. In television sets, they want bigger screen size, more clarity and improved quality of sound so that they can enjoy watching sports events and movies,” he said.
A leading electronic dealers, Yesh Gandhi, Director of AK Gandhi Marketing, Dhantoli expects that there could be robust growth in demand of more than 15-20 per cent this festive season. All the major electronic companies have lined-up a vast range of products equipped with the latest technology.
