NAGPUR’S talented fencer SharwariGosewade brought laurels to the city by performing brilliantly at the international level and winning a bronze medal in the Thailand Open Fencing Championship in Pathum Thani, Thailand. Sharwari represented the Indian team in the team event, winning the bronze medal at this prestigious international fencing competition held in Thailand from September 3 to 6, 2026. Sharvari represented India in the sabreevent. Sharwari’s international achievement has broughtjoy to sports fans and the fencing community in Nagpur. Her success is being considered a significant milestone in the  growing level of fencing in Nagpur and increasing international recognition of local athletes. Sharwari credited her success to parents and coaches Deepak Ayalwar,Sagar Bhagat and Ankit Gajbhiye. She said that the guidance of her coaches and the constant support of herparentsinspiredher toper form well at the international level.
