TALENTED limbo skating athlete Srishti Sharma will attempt to set aGuinness World Record on Tuesday in the category ‘Fastest Time to Limbo Skate Under Descending Poles Over 25 Metres –Female’. As part of this attempt, Srishti has setatargetofcompleting the 25-metrecourse in 8seconds. It will be exciting to see howquickly she completes this challenge and establishes anew record. Forthe past 13 years, Srishti has been spreading themessage of ‘Beti Bachao,Beti Padhao’ through limbo skating. Her attempt is not limited to setting arecord, it also conveys a powerful message about the courage, education,sports participation and self-reliance of girls. Srishti, who already has many feats against her name,will be attempting the record on Union Bank ATMRoad, WCLUmrer Colony, at 4:00 pm.
