Have you ever noticed that battles in history have one thing in common-- The unshattered belief of the winner! A king wins a battle not just because he had a strong army but also because of his the unwavering confidence. Likewise in today’s world, every individual life is shaped by the way our thought process works. Swami Vivekananda said, “Our minds shape our lives and characters, so we must monitor our inner thoughts closely.”Of course, there is no denial that we are shaped by our own surroundings but the ‘chainbreaker’ and the ‘changemaker’ of your life is only you. What you can do for yourself, nobody else can.

Therefore self improvement is the best improvement that shapes an individual to the level that he/she can transform the impossibilities of their lives. Socrates advocates, “Unexamined life is not worth living”. When one lives a purposeful life, he/she must have to be accountable for all the consequences that life has planned for him/her. Only dreaming big is not enough, it is the will to take everything to make it possible. The world can show you the path but it’s your resilience and perseverance that will ultimately build you.

This brings us to the most important aspect which is self introspection. Napoleon Bonaparte's journey from an outsider to Emperor of France is something to be looked upon. Before the war, he used to study all the possibilities that could lead his life to death in the battlefield and examine his abilities and tactics that could save him. This is how he’s ranked among history’s greatest generals to win the most of the wars he fought. Remember, dependency is transient. Those who carry themselves under every storm even when there’s no support is the one who’s unbreakable. Opportunity craves for those who thrive for it!
