IN A major boost to the city’s urban landscape, Vidarbha’s first Hotel Taj Gateway is being constructed on London Street. Being developed by Praful Deshmukh-led Prafulved Infra Private Ltd, the premium 241-room hospitality facility is situated on a 50,000 square feet plot in the area close to Wardha Road. Designed as an 11-storey excluding two basements and ground floor, the project features a massive multi-level parking facility across two basements capable of accommodating over 300 vehicles.

 

The property, coming up with an investment of Rs 500 crore, will boast a wide array of top-tier amenities, including a swimming pool, an expansive 8,000 square feet banquet hall on the ground floor, and dedicated restaurants and dining halls spread across the second floor. Construction of the hotel is progressing steadily and is expected to be completed within the next 30 months. Industry experts anticipate that this prestigious landmark will give a new identity to Nagpur, enhancing its reputation as a major business hub. Arrival of the iconic Taj Gateway brand is also expected to significantly drive up commercial and residential property values along the strategic Wardha Road corridor. Reflecting the broader growth of the region, this flagship development is accompanied by several other projects across the city. Three to four additional hotel developments are currently underway in and around Nagpur, signalling strong investor confidence in the region’s hospitality future.
