SENSATION prevailed in Baba Tola area when a young man was murdered with sharp edged weapon while another man sustained critical injuries under the jurisdiction of Hanumantal area. The deceased has been was identified as Suraj Chaudhary, who worked as a daily-wage labourer. Another youth, identified as Bhura, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. According to Hanumantal police, deceased’s elder brother, Shani Chaudhary informed that Suraj went out with his friends when a dispute broke out amongst them in drunken stupor.

 

Meanwhile, Suraj was attacked with sharp edged weapons and he succumbed to his grave injuries on the spot of incident while another man named Bhura also critically injured and his condition is reported to be stable undergoing treatment at the hospital. Learning about the incident, police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. According to Hanumantal police, exact cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained and police are questioning the witnesses. Police have registered a case while further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the accused involved in the incident
