As many as 6,688 students have been allotted an opportunity for admission in the third round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the five-year LLB programme for the academic year 2026-27. The State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the third CAP allotment list for the five-year law course. A total of 7,977 seats were available across 165 five-year law colleges in the State for the third round, against which 6,688 students have been allotted seats. 10,353 candidates participate in third round A total of 18,736 students had registered for admission to the five-year law programme in the State.

 

Of these, 10,353 candidates submitted their college preferences for the third CAP round. Only these candidates were considered for the third-round seat allotment. With 6,688 students receiving allotments against 7,977 available seats, a substantial number of seats remain vacant after the third-round allotment as well. The third-round allotment comes against the backdrop of 4,160 students having already secured admission through the first two CAP rounds. The first round saw 2,686 students taking admission, while another 1,474 students completed their admissions in the second round.
