A DELEGATION from Jabalpur, led by MLA Ashok Rohani met Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at Vallabh Bhavan in Bhopal on Tuesday and discussed the scope for industrial development in Jabalpur. During the courtesy meeting, the delegation urged the Chief Minister to facilitate the establishment of large industrial units in Jabalpur. The delegation stated that several major industrial investments are being encouraged in Madhya Pradesh and Jabalpur should also receive greater attention in this regard. MLA Rohani urged the Chief Minister to take steps to attract major industries and create new investment opportunities in Sanskardhani.

 

After lending patient ears to delegation’s demands and concerns CM Yadav assured of considering the demand and taking necessary steps to promote industrial development in the city. Rohani also raised a local law and order issue concerning the Cantonment Assembly constituency. He said that Ranjhi is a large and densely populated area and residents of Manegaon-Mohania face difficulties in accessing police services. He urged the Chief Minister to direct for establishment of a police outpost at Manegaon-Mohania. The demand was made in view of the size of the area and the need for better police presence and quicker response to local complaints.
