A DELEGATION of Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FMPCCI) met Union Minister of State for MSME and Labour and Employment Shobha Karandlaje at Shram Shakti Bhawan in New Delhi and discussed various issues related to MSME policies. The meeting covered a range of issues concerning the development of the MSME sector in Madhya Pradesh, policy formulation, ease of doing business, expansion of industrial and commercial activities, employment generation, investment opportunities and promotion of entrepreneurship. Federation President Himanshu Khare briefed the Minister on the industrial and business landscape of Madhya Pradesh and said the State has significant potential for expansion in the MSME and industrial sectors. He said favourable policies for MSMEs, along with simple and transparent procedures and an improved ease of doing business framework, could play an important role in promoting enterprise growth and attracting fresh investment.

 

Khare emphasised the need to provide small and medium enterprises with better access to markets, technology, finance and new business opportunities. He also stressed on the importance of simplifying and making time-bound the procedures related to government approvals, registrations, licences and various compliances. He said such measures would facilitate the expansion of existing MSME units while encouraging the establishment of new enterprises in the State. During the meeting, Khare also invited the Union Minister of State to attend the Federation’s proposed ‘Viksit Bharat Udyog Vyapar Sammelan’ as a guest. The delegation comprised Federation President Himanshu Khare, Vice-President Jaidev Tamrakar and Secretary Praveen Acharya.
