UNION Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh on Saturday called upon Indian companies to develop globally recognised brands and manufacture products conforming to international quality standards. Singh said the industry needs to focus on export-quality production, innovation, branding and global competitiveness to further strengthen India’s position in the global textile market. Union Minister Giriraj Singh was speaking at the 10th anniversary of Orange City Garment Cluster Pvt Ltd (OCGC), in the presence of Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. On the occasion, Gadkari said OCGC should focus on quality, credibility, consistency, innovation and value addition to establish a strong identity in the international market. The promoters of OCGC Vipul Panchmatia, Neeraj Sethi, Chandir Khemchandani and Subodh Jhunjhunwala were present at the event.
