RAMDEOBABA University and Sindhu College football teams recorded wins in their opening matches of Dr Pa njabrao Deshmukh Sports Festival that got underway at Dhanwate National College ground on Monday. Ramdeobaba University eked out a1-0 win while Sindhu beat their opponents 3-0 to move forward in the tourney. At the outset, the meet was inaugurated by Mayor Neeta Thakre.

 

Dilip Ingole of Shri Shivaji Shikshan Sanstha presided over. Gajananrao Pundkar, Dr Akhilesh Peshwe, Mahadeorao Kasgawade, Dr Sambhaji Bhosale, Ashwini Jichkar, Ashokrao Deshmukh, KK Deshmukh, Diwakar Bodkhe, Dr Omraj Deshmukh, Dr Prashant Kothe and Dr DevendraWankhade were prominently present.
