The India Meteorological Department has issued a fresh alert for September 29, heavy rain and thunderstorms are likely in 23 states, with Madhya Pradesh firmly on the list. Districts including Bhopal, Vidisha, Sagar, Satna and Dewas are expected to see gusty winds of 40-50 kmph and thunder showers. The trigger? A north-south trough running from Bihar to the Bay of Bengal and cyclonic circulations over UP and Northeast Assam. But here’s the twist.
