Nagpur-born Nitisha Annadate won the Femina USA North America Universe 2026 title at the pageant held recently in Seattle, Washington, USA. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, former model and professional, Nitisha represented Indian culture on the international pageant platform. One of the key highlights was her National Costume presentation, based on the concept of cosmic feminine energy and Shakti. The presentation symbolised feminine strength and creative energy, complemented by a specially created cosmic prop representing the universe, celestial energy, nature and feminine power.

 

The prop was created by Vijaya Kokkili. Nitisha, who hails from Nagpur, has trained in Bharatanatyam and has experience in modeling, along with her academic and professional background. Speaking about her achievement, Nitisha said the crown is a reminder that the power is within you and that every woman should believe in her journey. The title marks a new chapter in Nitisha’s journey from Nagpur to the international stage, with her achievement highlighting confidence, cultural identity and perseverance.
