SINDHU College drubbed Dhanwate National College in men’s volleyball match of Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Sports Festival in progress at latter’s ground on Tuesday. Sindhu won25-09,25-07.St Vincen tPallotti College of Engineering andTechnology team registered abrilliant victory by defeating Nagarjuna College 25-11, 25-12. Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering and Technology team defeated Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University(LITU) in aclose game 25-19, 25-16. CPC College registered an easy victory over Institute of Science 25-14, 25-08.

 

In women’s group,Umang Gitai Mahila Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, defeated DNC 25-17, 25-14 while KDK College beat Ramdeobaba University25-15, 25-06. In men’s kabaddi, Dr Gopalrao Khedkar College, Gadegaon(Telhara) defeated Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research 23-09, 06-15 while Ramdeobaba University defeated GH Raisoni College by 4points to register avictory. In the first half, Raisoni College had taken aone-point lead at 22-21. However, in the second half, Ramdeobaba University made a strong comeback and took a19-14 lead and won the match with afinal score of 40-36.
