SHOURYA Madavi and Shruti Devgade excelled in the Taluka-Level School Badminton Competition, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Maharashtra State Sports Council and District Sports Office,Nagpur,and hosted by Global Indian International School, Lava, Nagpur. Students of GH Raisoni Junior College, Shourya and Shruti, showcased an outstanding performance to help the college win title. In thefinal against Model School, Shourya displayed remarkable skill and determination in the singles category, defeating Sayli 11-6, 11-4 in straight games.

 

The winning streak continued in doubles category, where Shourya and Shruti defeated Model pair of Sayli and Aditi 11-7, 11-6. The team’s remarkable victory was backed by the dedicated efforts and guidance of Dr Inderjeet Singh Randhawa, Head of the Sports Department, and Reena Choubey, Sports Teacher. The outstanding achievement was applauded by Chairman Sunil Raisoni, Director Palakh Raisoni, Principal Vaishali Thakre and the teaching staff.
