MARKING it’s Foundation Day and Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) Mahanagar unit carried out a grand Shobhayatra in the city on Thursday. The event aimed to disseminate messages of duty, culture, social awareness, and Sanatan consciousness. The grand procession took place in presence of saints and seers, showcasing unity, strength and commitment to Sanatan heritage. A diverse segment of society including local citizens, women, youth, social workers and cultural activists, participated in the procession in large numbers. A total of 21 themed tableaux presented by three districts under Jabalpur division, portraying Hindu culture, traditions, spirituality and core Indian values.
 
The procession aimed to foster cultural awareness, connect the younger generation with their roots, eradicate social evils and promote harmony and unity. The event went beyond religious celebration, serving as a social and cultural campaign to instill pride in India’s ancient heritage. The VHP representatives have urged citizens, youth, and women across the city to participate in large numbers to make the event a success. Ajay Chourasia, Prant Sah Prachar Prasar Pramukh, Mahakoshal Prant, Kumar Rathore, Jila Prachar Pramukh, Rani Durgavati Jila, Komal Singh Lodhi and other VHP members contributed to make the procession successful.
