VIDARBHA will need to bat their skin out as they chase asteep target of 382 runs,put up by Gujarat, on the last day of the Thimmappiah Memorial Trophy in Alur. PriyeshPatelhitacentury(100) and Jaymeet Patel made 91 as Gujarat posted 327-7 before declaring their second innings and setting atarget of 401 runs for Vidarbha. At the close of play on Day 3, Vidarbha were 19 without loss. Earlier in the day,Vidarbha’s first innings folded for 277, resulting in Gujarat gaining avital 73- runlead. Gujarat batsmen went for quick runs and piled up 327-7 in 72 overs.Parth Rekhade,Praful Hinge and Rajneesh Gurbani each picked up two wickets.  At stumps,Atharva Taide (10) and Abhishek Agrawal (8) were at the crease.
