THE Jabalpur Circuit House will be redeveloped with modern facilities under a new plan. A new 75-room building will be constructed under the redevelopment scheme of the Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation. The new Circuit House will be developed as a five-star green-rated building. It will also have a 100-seat conference hall for official meetings and conferences. State Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh shared the details after a meeting on the project at his residence. He said the government has prepared a plan to upgrade circuit houses and government rest houses across the State. Jabalpur and Bhopal have been selected for the first phase of the project. Singh said most Government rest houses in the State were built several years ago.       

  

 Their facilities need to be upgraded according to current requirements. The new Jabalpur Circuit House will provide better accommodation for government officials and VVIP and VIP guests. The facility will also be available to the general public. Rooms can be booked online. The new facility will have 75 rooms. These will include 55 standard rooms, 18 VIP rooms and two VVIP rooms. The Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation is preparing the detailed project plan. The facility will also have a maintenance plan for the next 15 years. Its operation and maintenance will be outsourced. A meeting on the project was attended by MPRDC M D Bharat Yadav, BDC MD C B Chakraborty, Jabalpur Collector Raghavendra Singh and other officials.
