FOLLOWING the recent visit by Nagpur, Vishwas Nangare Patil, Commissioner of Police, at the MIDC Industries Association (MIA), a second-level follow-up meeting was recently held with senior police officials to take forward the concerns raised by the industrial fraternity of Hingna MIDC. The meeting was attended by Rishikesh Reddy, DCP, Zone 1, Aditya Mirkhelkar, DCP, Traffic, Arvind Maharshi, PI, Traffic, and Gokul Mahajan, PI, MIDC. Detailed discussions were held on industrial safety and security, prevention of theft, traffic management, movement of heavy vehicles, emergency response and other issues affecting the smooth functioning of industries in Hingna MIDC.

 

As part of the meeting, the MIA delegation accompanied the senior police officers to various locations across the industrial area, enabling the officers to undertake a first-hand assessment of the challenges and understand the concerns of industries at the ground level. The joint inspection provided an opportunity to identify critical locations and discuss practical measures for improving security, traffic discipline and overall safety in the industrial belt. Representing MIA were Krishna Kumar Daga, Ajay Agrawal, Arun Lanjewar, Pravin Palkar, Charan Singh Mathuria and Manish Malpani, along with other members of the Association. P Mohan, President, MIDC Industries Association, appreciated the personal involvement of senior police officials and their willingness to visit the industrial area and understand the issues on the ground.

 

He said, “The proactive approach of the Nagpur Police and the continued dialogue with MIA give us confidence that our concerns are being addressed in a systematic and result-oriented manner. We look forward to strengthening this Police–Industry partnership to createa safer, and business-friendly environment in Hingna MIDC.” MIA expressed its commitment to continuing close coordination with the Nagpur Police and supporting all initiatives aimed at strengthening industrial security, improving traffic management and creating a safe and conducive environment for sustainable industrial and business growth in Hingna MIDC.
