Three accused women of honey-trap case being taken to court by Palasia police (Indore) in State capital on Monday evening.

Indore’s Palasia police, on Monday, produced three women accused in honey-trap case before Bhopal Court and took them on transit remand till Tuesday. They were produced before court as their police remand period expired on Monday and due to investigation related work, they could not be taken to Indore. Public Relations Officer of Public Prosecution Directorate Sudha Vijay Singh Bhadoria informed that three accused of honey-trap case vis Shweta Vijay Jain, Shweta Swapnil Jain and Barkha Soni were produced before the court. The lawyer of accused women opposed the transit remand. However, court sanctioned transit remand of all three accused till October 1.
The transit remand was sought to produce all three women accused before Indore’s JMFC Court. Sources said that accused three women could not be taken to Indore on Monday as Palasia police were late in leaving for Indore hence accused three women were produced before Bhopal Court to take them on transit remand. On Monday, accused women’s police remand had got expired. It was SHO of Palasia (Indore) who produced accused women before local court in State capital. Honey-trap case has created flutter in the corridors of power as accused women have allegedly blackmailed many high profile persons of politics and bureaucracy.
Meanwhile, Police Headquarters (PHQ) has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the case under the guidance of ADG Sanjiv Sami. Palasia police booked accused under sections 419, 420, 384, 506, 120 B , 385, 467 and IPC’s 370 A, B, C, D, I and 370 (3). Accused were brought to Bhopal in connection with investigation as major conspiracies of case were hatched and executed in Bhopal as well. Sources said that all three women accused of honey-tap case were produced before Bhopal Court around 4.15 pm. Buzz is this that investigating officers have gathered vital evidences in connection with the case. The cell phones and laptops of accused have been already seized and details taken out from them in the form of videos have been sent for forensic probe.
Accused women allegedly used to blackmail their victims after making secret videos in compromising position. It is being said that accused women twisted the arms of their victims through blackmailing and made them to cough out huge sums. Even accused women allegedly acted like a power broker in getting tenders passed. They also made their victims to give huge money to their NGOs.
