Monsoon to start withdrawing from State

Monsoon is preparing to withdraw from Madhya Pradesh. It is being fathomed that monsoon withdrawal may start in couple of days. Already, rains have taken the backseat in most parts of state. Wednesday proved to be a dry day in Bhopal. In last twenty four hours, rains occurred only in sporadic parts of state. Rains were recorded in few places of Indore and Ujjain divisions. The rest places of state remained dry. In its forecast, weather department said that light showers and thunder activities may take place in Dhar, Indore, Khandwa, Ratlam, Dewas, Neemuch, Mandsaur districts.
 
Dry weather is likely in some places of Alirajpur, Jhabua, Badwani, Burhanpur, Burhanpur, Hoshangabad, Betul, Harda, Shajapur, Agar, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Chindwada, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Singhrauli, Umaria, Anoopppur, Shahdol, Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore, Tikamgarh, Panna, Chhattarpur, damoh, Sheopur Kalan, Morena, Bhind, Jabalpur, Mandla, Katni, Balaghat, Dindori districts etc.
 
The forecast for Bhopal says that sky would be partially cloudy. Meanwhile, temperatures have started to roll down by a notch or two in most places of state. As rains have stopped, humidity has increased and now it is embarrassing the people. To find relief, people are switching on fans and air conditioners at their homes and offices. On Wednesday, Bhopal’s maximum temperature slipped to 30.8 degrees Celsius, 2 degrees below normal. However minimum temperature was 21.6 degrees Celsius, 2 degrees above normal. Now people are waiting for monsoon withdrawal, likely to start from October 10, and preparing to welcome winter season. As it had rained heavily this monsoon season, hence people are anticipating that cold would be severe this winter season.
