Governor Anusuiya Uikey would inaugurate the five-day 46th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition (JNNSMEE) at BTI Ground in Raipur on Tuesday. As per schedule, the Governor would inaugurate the exhibition at 12 noon as the chief guest of the function while Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel would preside over. School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam and Mayor Pramod Dubey would be special guests on the occasion. The exhibition would remain opened for public from October 15 to 19 between 11 am and 5 pm.
Department of School Education and State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) are hosting the exhibition under the aegis of National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The exhibition would have lecture by scientists from October 16 to 18 from 9 am to 10.30 am. Participants would be taken to an education trip on October 20.
Meanwhile, School Education Principal Secretary Gaurav Dwivedi took stock of the preparations for the exhibition at BTI Ground on Monday. The theme of the exhibition would be Scientific Solutions for Challenges in Life which would have six sub-themes. Around 400 participating students and 200 mentor teachers from across the nation are turning up for the exhibition.
