JNAU organises welcome ceremony of new entrants

Agriculture science that is getting modern-life with every passing day the advance farming equipments have important role. In prevailing system of farming after Robotics the farm works are being carried out with Drones. Following this the need and responsibility of the Agriculture Engineers rises many folds. In future the farming would pass through various technologies, said, Professor, P K Bisen, Vice Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University (JNAU) while addressing new entrant students in Agriculture Engineering at their welcome ceremony on Friday.
 
 
 
Vice Chancellor, Prof Bisen welcoming students in his way congratulated students for choosing a stream that would require most in the future. He said JNAU being the Best Agriculture University of the country also posses various first in its profile and said a bright future is ahead for every student in this room. He also warned students to remain in disciplined conduct in the University.
 
On this occasion Senior Students have welcomed the new entrants with rose flowers. Academic In-charge, Dr M L Sahu apprise in detail about the achievements of the University, Working Culture as well as Goals and Objectives of Agriculture Education and Research. He added Rs 164 included in fees has been utilized for Rs 1 lakh insurance of students.
 
Gyanvani Centre, In-Charge, Dr Shekhar Singh Baghel played a video based on achievements of University. Dean Faulty of Agriculture, Dr Dheerendra Khare, Registrar, Ashok Kumar Ingle, Director Research, Dr P K Mishra, DE, Dr (Mrs) Om Gupta, DF, Dr Deep Pehalwan, Dean Agriculture Engineering, Dr R K Nema, PRO, Dr Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Dean Student Welfare, Dr Amit Sharma were present. Prof CM Abrol convened the programme while Dr M K Awasthi proposed the vote of thanks. The students on this occasion taken oath to attain excellence in Agriculture field and studies.
