Contract worker of MP Power Company critically injured after falling from tree

A contract worker of Madhya Pradesh Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company was critically injured after felling from 15-feet high tree near Krishi Upaj Mandi area, on Saturday. The contract worker named Abhishek Vishwakarma was assigned by Vijay Nagar Division’s Assistant Engineer for trimming of branch of a tree during maintenance work of 11 KV line. Abhishek climbed upon a tree without any safety measures and fell down from 15-feet height.
 
He sustained multiple injuries and lost his consciousness. Subordinating employees rushed the injured at Metro Hospital where his condition is reported to be critical undergoing treatment at ICU Ward. MPEB Takneeki Karmchari Sangh’s Harendra Shrivastava, Mohan Dubey, Ajay Kashyap, J K Kostha, Shashi Upadhyay, Rajkumar Saini, Ramshankar, Khyaliram, T David, Lakhan Singh and others extended appeal towards company administration for providing best medical treatment and financial assistance to the contract worker.
