Shivraj Singh Chouhan starts Sankalp Yatra from Minto Hall

“Mahatma Gandhi is not only of India rather he is of the entire world. The ideology of Mahatma Gandhi is the path of human welfare. We should emulate the foot prints of Mahatma Gandhi and contribute in building a better India and world,” said ex-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhah on Wednesday. Chouhan was addressing the BJP workers while kick-starting the Gandhi Sankalp Yatra from Minto Hall in State capital. Chouhan said that Mahatma Gandhi showed the path of humanity while former Prime Minister late Lal Bahadur Shastri infused soul into India by giving the slogan of ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’.
 
On this occasion, former union minister Uma Bharti, BJP State Organisation General Secretary Suhas Bhagat, former MP Alok Sanjar, Mayor Alok Sharma, MLA Krishna Gaur, ex-Minister Dhruvnarayan, BMC Chairman Surjeet Singh Chouhan, MLA Rameshwar Sharma etc were present. Earlier, Chouhan and other BJP leaders offered garlanded the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at Minto Hall.
 
Gandhi Sankalp Yatra start from Minto Hall and reached Patra Chouraha via Lal Parade Ground, Lili Talkies, Jehangirabad etc. While participating in Sankalp Yatra, BJP leaders also took part in cleanliness drive. Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Uma Bharti picked up broom and started to clean the street. BJP leaders also vouched for Single Use Plastic Free concept and distributed paper made bags to people. BJP also took out Sankalp Yatra in other cities of State including Ujjain, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Indore, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Rewa, Gwalior, Satna, Guna, Vidisha, Neemuch, Shahdol, Betul etc. Various senior leaders led these Sankalp Yatra.
