As expected, 22 ICAD students qualified the Pre-Regional Mathematics Olympiad (Pre-RMO), making it the highest qualifications in Nagpur and continued the legacy of ICADians. Pre-RMO exam, which is conducted by Mathematics Teachers Association on behalf of NBHM, The National Board for Higher Mathematics, is one of the toughest exams in Mathematics.
Qualified students are Aishani Prabhu, Anuj Bhadbhade, Anushka Tupkary, Aryan Bhushanwar, Aryan Hingwe, Atharva Prabhune, Chinmay Bhusari, Dhruv Gattani, Indrayani Tayde, Ketaki Rajurkar, Mrinal Thakare, Pranav Rathi, Pranish Panpaliya, Raghav Sapre, Rudresh Gade, Sanil Upasani, Soham Dahane, Subhojit Ghosal, Tanmay Hedaoo, Vedant Chandewar, Yash Agrawal, and Yash Kawade.
Till last year 54 ICADians had cleared Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO) and 10 ICADians had cleared Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO). ICADian Pranjal Warade has brought 2 international medals for India in International Olympiads held at Belarus-2014 and Thailand-2015. She is the first Indian girl to win international medal in Mathematics Olympiad. Currently Pranjal is pursuing her PG from University of Chicago. It should be noted that it is in the process of their tough preparation of JEE and NEET, ICADians are qualifying Pre-RMO, RMO, KVPY, Olympiads and other prestigious competitive examinations.
ICAD hopes to repeat this performance year after year with passionate and enthusiastic students of the region.
