THE bhumipoojan of Agrovision, a national-level agricultural exhibition, workshop and conference that will commence from November 22, was performed here at Reshimbagh ground on Saturday at the hands of Mayor Nanda Jichkar. Also present on the occasion were former MLA Dr Milind Mane, Chetna Tak, Girish Deshmukh, Sandhyatai Gotmare, Avinash Thakre, Ramesh Chopde, Sanjay Tekade, Sharad Donekar, Ramesh Mankar and Ravi Boratkar, both organising secretaries, Dr C D Mayee, President Advisory Committee of Agrovision, Anil Nadhan, Archana Lingalwar, Dr Prerana Borkar, Pratibha Mandavkar, Sachin Naidu and others.

 

The biggest agricultural event in central India, Agrovision 2019 will be held from November 22 to 25 at Reshimbagh Ground. The vision is to create a prosperous agrarian society where farmers are well informed about the latest practices and agriculture becomes a remunerative and attractive profession. Our focus this year will to bring latest technologies and products to the farmers. Keeping this in mind, the theme of the 11th Agrovision has been aptly chosen as “Smart Technologies for Sustainable Development”.
