CM Baghel reiterates his promise of Rs 2,500 MSP at Balodabazaar camp

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday repeated the commitment of Rs 2,500 MSP for paddy as he attended a convention of Chhattisgarh Manva Kurmi Kshatriya Community. In his speech, Baghel promised no matter if anyone supports them or not, but the government will keep the promise. Baghel also announced to raise the status of Suhela from Sub-Tehsil to Tehsil and named the Middle School of village Bitkuli after freedom fighter Pulas Chawre.
 
CM also paid tribute to the great personalities like Dr Khubchand Baghel, Swami Atmanand, Veer Shivaji, Vallabh Bhai Patel and Hemnath Verma and gave blessings to the couple tied nuptial knots in Adarsh Vihah function. Talented members of the community were also felicitated at the hands of CM.
 
Baghel announced his government’s focus on eradication of malnourishment by Suposhan Abhiyaan. Chief Minister Residence now holds festivals like Hareli, Teeja, Goverdhan Puja, and Mata Karma, which proves the state now is under real Chhattisgarhi people. He also explained the entire process of making rice from paddy.
 
Chief Minister also talked about the welfare schemes of his government such as loan waiver and said Chhattisgarh remained untouched by recession due to these schemes. Women have also purchased more gold and silver ornaments this year. Community’s Central president Dr Ramkumar Verma talked about the history of community and feted the talented members of the community.
 
A vote of thanks was proposed by Arjuni Raj President Bhuneshwar Verma. Collector Kartikeya Goyal, SP Neethu Kamal and other officials were also present.
