Vidarbha Plywood Merchant’s Association (VPMA) organised Diwali Milan recently here in the city with great fanfare. The event was held at Maharaj Bagh Club Lawn, Giripeth, Amravati Road, Nagpur where members of the association, their families and guests participated.

 

President of the association Rajesh Patel; Secretary Saqib Parekh; Treasurer Rajesh Amte; vice presidents - Yogesh Bang, Ranjeet Thakkar, and Joint Secretary Anil Sarda lit the ceremonial lamp. While addressing the gathering Patel gave Diwali and New Year wishes. Apart from this, the association felicitated meritorious students. Prizes were also given to ‘Best Dressed Male’, Best Dressed Female’ and ‘Best Dressed Couple’. Musical night programme was also held in which event management artist Dinesh Mishra delighted the audience with his excellent performance. On this occassion a grand Gold Housie was also played.

 

Presidents and Secretaries of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC), Nagpur Chamber of Commerce Ltd., (NCCL), Vidarbha Taxpayers Association (VTA) and Legal Advisor of the association participated as guests. Newly elected MLA fromWest Nagpur Vikas Thakre also participated as guest. For the success of the grand function Yogesh Bang, Manoj Patel, Shyam Maheshwari, Shyam Sadani, Dhiraj Patel, Deepak Agrawal, Vivek Chhaparwa worked relentlessly.

 

Around 800 people including ladies and children from members and their families attended the programme. Saqib Parekh conducted the proceedings of the function and also proposed

vote of thanks.
