Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, who is gearing up for her upcoming project as a producer - director was in Bhilai on Monday evening for all the good reasons. The ‘Vivah’ fame visited a fan of her Anshul Ramteke at his home in Bhilai and spent quality time with him. Not just him, she also met some of the other fans in Bhilai at the resident of Ravindra Bisare and Dr Amrita Bisare. While talking to the mediapersons Amrita revealed that she will soon be launching her new project as director/producer.
Amitra said that fans are there but Anshul is a special fan so when she came to Bhilai for a private project she decided to meet Anshul. “I have been to Chhattisgarh many a times and I love the state it is greenery everywhere that attracts me the most, well Bhilai is also so green and clean, being born and brought up in a metro city it feels good to be so close to nature”, Rao added. Replying on the question of MeToo movement the actress said, “it was important that the #MeToo movement has started, at least women are coming forward and expressing their views rather being suffering, but went on to add it feels bad when women are using it for personal benefit or publicity and diluting the movement”.
When asked about her favourite actor she named Nawazuddin Siddiqui with whom she shared the screen in ‘Thackeray’ and her role model as actress Pallavi Joshi with whom she acted in a Television show. She said that her memorable role was in ‘Vivah’ which was also her turning point in life.
