EIGHTY-SEVEN-year-old Pushpa Joshi, an artist who played the role of dadi in the movie ‘Raid’, died at the age of 85 in Mumbai on Tuesday. Joshi suffered a fracture after she slipped at her residence last week. She was hospitalised and successfully operated in Mumbai.

 

 

 

Unfortunately, she passed away on Tuesday night. A resident of Jabalpur, Pushpa Joshi came into limelight due to her impressive acting in a movie produced by her son and daughter-in-law uploaded on YouTube. Following which, she got the opportunity to act with Ajay Devgan in the movie ‘Raid’.

Apart from ‘Raid’, she also acted in ‘Ramprasad ki Terahvi’ movie. She yet again proved her mettle in the advertisement of Fevicol.

 

Joshi recently posted a poem ‘Chodungi Na Aaj Abhi Jeevan Baki Hai’ on her facebook account. She worked till her last breath. Jabalpur residents paid an emotional tribute to the departed soul.
