City’s Wahurwagh-directed short film ‘Dehdaan’ to get international award

‘Dehdaan’, the short file directed by Nagpur’s Nagesh Wahurwagh has been selected for Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Award. First Ambedkarwadi Vishwa Sahitya Sammelan is being organised by Jagtik Ambedkarwadi Sahitya Mahamandal on November 8 and 9 at Nelson Mandela premises at Bangkok, Thailand. Wahurwagh will receive award during the same Sammelan. ‘Dehdaan’ is a social movie and has given a message of body donation. The film was produced under the banner of Sant Kabir Film Productions the idea is of Kunda Wankhede while Kashyap Sawarkar and Pallavi Gajbhiye are its co-Producers. Nagesh Wahurwagh is a famous Ambedkarite litterateur who directed the movie. Subodh Uke is Assistant Director of the movie while Abhilash Vishwakarma is the Cinematographer.
 
This short film has the team of actors including Aabhas Sakhre, Rashmi Nagdevte, Dinesh Malge, Sagar Wade, Sujata Chandankhede, Harshali Kawade, Nehal Umre, Swapnil Bongade, Shubhangi Sawarkar, Athang Sawarkar (child artist), Sanjay Sayre, Amit Duryodhan, Sumitra Nikose, Manda Khandare, Adv Sonia Gajbhiye.
