POLICE succeeded in apprehending two absconding accused of murder of a dhaba owner and seized two country-made pistols, 18 live cartridges and 2 two-wheelers from them. The arrested accused have been identified as Rishabh Sharma (22), son of Ashok Sharma, resident of Ward Number-10 in Gandhigram, Budhagar in Gosalpur and Ashish Kachhi alias Raj Pandit (29), son of Ashok alias Maru Kachhi, resident of Khale Mohalla, Lohari in Majholi. Police have already nabbed an accused named Aanchal Namdeo (22), son of Arun Namdeo, a resident of Nai Basti No-2, Gohalpur as assisted two accused in materialising incident and escaping them from the spot.
 
On November 24, a man named Rajesh alias Raju Patel (53), a resident of Budhagar informed that in the intervening night he was inside his house when he heard a loud noise of firing bullet. He came out from house and witnessed Rishi Asati (26), a resident of Budhagar village and dhaba owner who was bleeding profusely laying under Activa scooter in front of his house. The injured was admitted to a private hospital where he was declared brought dead in primary check-up by the doctors. Police found a bullet injury on forehead and found an empty shell of fired bullet on the spot of incident.
 
Gosalpur police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC. Investigating the case, police learnt that a man named Rishabh Sharma was demanding money from deceased Rishi Asati and planned to kill him. As per plan, Rishabh along with his accomplice targeted Rishi near his house and opened fire at him in the intervening night of November 23 and 24. Accused called another accomplice Anchal Namdeo at Katangi by-pass and abandoned the unregistered CD Delux motorcycle behind bushes on Kathonda road. They passed through Madan Mahal and reached at Jabalpur Railway Station and boarded a train but Anchal Namdeo returned home.
 
Police nabbed Anchal who informed that he had purchased a pistol and six cartridges from Rishabh for Rs 35,000 two months back. Rishabh took the pistol from Anchal after Diwali to killing Rishi Asati. He disclosed that Rishabh had threatened Rishi for a demand of Rs 2 lakh but the demand was refused by Rishi. On his identification, police team seized the abandoned motorcycle from Kathonda and started a rigorous search for the two accused. Continuing a rigorous search, police have arrested two more accused and retrieved firearms from them.
