‘De Taal Bhopal’ programme will be inaugurated by Mayor Alok Sharma on Sunday at 6.30 am. The programme will be held from 6.30 am to 9.30 am. Municipal Commissioner Vijay Datta along with other officials will be present for the programme. BMC will be organising this event every Sunday at Boat Club, Van Vihar road in which various amusement activities like frisby, tug of war, zumba etc will be held every Sunday. Special bus services from Kolar road has been started which will be take route via Chuna Bhatti, MANIT, Ashima Mall. From Bairagarh also special bus services has been started for participants which will come via Lalghati, Royal Market, Moti Masjid to reach Boat Club.
These bus services will be free for participants and will be available on all Sundays. Activities like tug of war, musical chair, skating, cycling etc will be organised as a part of the event . The De Taal Bhopal will be organised by Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) in collaboration with Bhopal city link limited, Bhopal Traffic Police. Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vijay Datta said that these activities are being organised as a part of Swachh Bhopal Swasth Bhopal. Cultural activities of college students will also be organised. Other sports activities will also be organised regularly.
The De Taal Bhopal will be organised from morning 6 to evening 8. The De Taal Bhopal will include fitness activities, social activities, cultural activities, entertainment, art and hobby. The activities will start by cycling from Hotel Ranjeet to Van Vihar gate. This will be followed by Zumba from morning 6 am to 7 am near Boat Club. Cultural activities will be organised at Boat Club followed by khel zone, gully cricket, frisbee, skipping, badminton , road graffiti. An awareness programme Swachhata Ki Rajdhani will also be part of the programme . The citizens can cycle, walk, jog and skate there.
Further, for a mass awareness programme about health yoga, aerobics, zumba and games like cricket, kho-kho and other body lifting activities will also being organised. Notably, this events will be observed to not only to aware the Bhopalites about traffic security measures, but also to inform them about being healthy. So, various activities are organised with which people can also taste the fun along with the physical exercise. Earlier, with the view to promote public transport and better traffic security measures and health among the Bhopalites, the Raahgiri Day is was organised which became popular every Sunday at Boat Club. From kids to older citizens everyone actively participated in the day and enjoy a lot. With this event now Bhopal Municipal Corporation wants to revive the same concept.
