Nagpur First is all set to host the ‘Annual Global Nagpur Summit 2019’ on December 20 at Persistent Systems, and December 21 at Chitnavis Centre, Nagpur. The summit will begin on 20th December with a glittering evening of ‘Global Nagpur Awards’ from 6 pm. This 6th edition of the event will promote a healthy dialogue in order to chalk out an action plan for making Nagpur a smart global city. On December 21 from 10.00 am to 1.15 pm at Tamarind Hall in Chitnavis Centre will take place the ‘International Business’ track with 2 keynotes, 2 sessions, and 1 panel while from 2 pm ‘Women Empowerment’ track with 2 keynotes and 2 sessions will be held at same venue. Women Empowerment is a newly introduced track that will highlight and discuss the opportunities available for women both on the local and global front. The themes/sessions for the track are ‘Breaking the Glass Ceiling’ and ‘GROW (Global Reach Opportunity for Women)’. The track will be chaired by Nivedita Pendharkar.
The 2 keynotes will be delivered by Manjeet Hirani, Commander at Air India and Author, and Kalpana Saroj, CEO, Kamani Tubes. The two sessions will take place under moderator, Khurshit Dalal, Creative Writer, Media & Advertising, and panelists, Shruti Sharma, Founder, Baidyanath Life Sciences and Kvya - Authentic Ayurveda, Anu Meena, Founder, AGROWAVE; Maitreyi Jichkar, Founder - Dr Shrikant Jichkar Foundation’s Zero Gravity Volunteer Network; Debdutta Upadhyay, Ex-CEO of Timesaverz; Anupam Sanghi, Managing Partner, Anupam Sanghi & Associates; and Success Stories by Priyam Daga, Founder, Connecting Wives and Kanika Dewani, Director, Premier Lifestyle, Dr Anuradha Ridhorkar from Kingsway Hospitals will be talking on health challenges in competitive scenario for Women Entre-preneurs. The Inter-national Business track is designed to foster business between Nagpur and global entities. The track will be introduced by Hakimuddin Ali, Chairman Imerys India, Director Strategy & BD Africa, India and ME at Imerys and Director of Strategy & BD Africa, India.
The 2 keynotes include 1) ‘Trade opportunities with China in Nagpur’ by Tang Guocai, Consulate General of the Peoples Republic of China in Mumbai and 2) ‘An International Destination “Must Do’es”’ by Dr Ajay Gondane, Ex High Commissioner of India to Australia. The two sessions and a success story include 1) ‘The Way to Germany’ by Ashish Pandit, Partner, Let’s bridge IT- Official Representatives for The State of Baden-Württemberg (Germany) in Maharashtra 2) ‘London Calling’ by Hemin Barucha, Chief Representative - India, London & Partners and success story by Ganesh Raghavan, Director TAL. The panel discussion ‘How to make it Happen’ will take place under moderato, Rajeev Aggarwal, Management Consultant- Business & Global Strategy, and panellists, Dr Ajay Gondane, Ashish Pandit, Ganesh Raghavan, and Hemin Barucha. Dr Rajan Barokar from Kingsway Hospitals will also be talking on International Health Standards on the track.
