MP’s Anjul Namdeo, Prabhat Jogi win two gold medals in wushu

REPRESENTING the Indian team, Madhya Pradesh’s Anjul Namdeo and Prabhat Jogi clinched two gold medals in Wushu Championship in 13th South Asian Games in Kathmandu (Nepal). Madhya Pradesh Wushu Association, Secretary, Sarika Gupta informed that 17-member Indian Wushu team participated in 13th South Asian Games.
Anjul Namdeo of Jabalpur bagged a bronze medal in Chankwan event, while Prabhat Jogi won a bronze medal in 75 kilograms category and brought laurels to the State in South Asian Games.

International Wushu Judge Manoj Gupta of Jabalpur was appointed as judge at South Asian Games, while Madhya Pradesh Olympic Association, Secretary, Digvijay Singh of Jabalpur was appointed as Deputy Chief De Mission of Indian team.
 
On this achievement, State Minister for Sports Jitu Patwari, Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot, Social Justice Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare S L Thousen, N K Tripathi, Jitendra Jamdar congratulated them and wished success in future.
