OFFICE of The Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India along with Council for Handicrafts Development Corporation, New Delhi has organised exhibition-cum-sale of handicrafts at Nagpur Urban Hat, Hajari Pahad. The exhibition was inaugurated on March 8. Stalls at the exhibition are offered free to the artisans, hence the rate of artefacts are also reasonable. Around 50 SC women artisans are showcasing their handicrafts at the exhibition.
They include Zari craft, cotton dress material, dupatta, Banarasi saree, silk saree, boutique print dress material, cane bamboo bags, ceramic craft etc., items are showcased at the exhibition. The exhibition is open from 10 am to 8 pm. The exhibition will end on March 13. Entry to the exhibition is free. Nagpur Urban Hat is located at Ganganagar Square, near Fire Engineering College, Friends Colony, Seminary Hills, Hajari Pahad.
