Staff Reporter,
CONTINUING series of Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan, BJP made a scathing attack on the Congress during the Abhiyan in Deori of Sagar district. The leaders said that under the leadership of Congress, Madhya Pradesh is becoming a save haven for criminals and anti-social elements. Addressing the rally, Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava and State BJP President Rakesh Singh fired salvo against the Congress by stating that the Congress is seeking evidence of air strike. “Terrorism is a malaise not only for India but for the world. For years, we remained in Opposition but whenever it came to nationalism and self-esteem of the nation, every BJP worker stood with the government. But today circumstances are totally different. The Congress has become blind in the quest of power and is not desisting even from questioning the armed forces,” Rakesh Singh said. He also alleged that the Congress has always cheated farmers. On the lines of Punjab and Karnataka, the Congress did the work to dupe farmers of Madhya Pradesh as well. Congress came to power to waive off farmers loan within 10 days but till date it has not waived off farmers’ loan. He asserted that CM Kamal Nath waited for imposition of model code of conduct so that he can shelve the promise of waiving off farmers’ loan.

He accused the Congress Government of being insensitive towards people. The BJP leader further claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country and the borders are safe. Morale of the Army has increased and country is sprinting towards development. MP Singh urged party workers to step out of their homes to bring awareness among masses and take a pledge that until victory in Lok Sabha elections, they will not sit idle. Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava said that after Kamal Nath took oath as the Chief Minister, time has changed in Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier, the State was known as peace island but now transfers and abduction industries are on bloom. Parents of school-going children are reeling in fear and worried for their children specially after abduction and killing of minors in Chitrakoot and Satna. Unfortunately, the Kamal Nath Government is tight-lipped on such heinous incidents. It is great irony that the entire world stands with India and have hailed the air strikes but some leaders within the country are seeking proof.
