Despite strict vigil, UFM cases on rise

Total 167 UFM cases were registered in English examination of class X on Saturday in the State. n Out of these, 30 cases were found in Bhind, 18 in Morena and 57 in Damoh 
 
Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has registered many cases of use of unfair means (UFM) in high school and higher secondary examinations so far. The foremost exam centres where these cases have been registered are located at Bhind, while Morena stands on second and Damoh is on third position where UFM cases have been registered. While, a case of fake examinee has also come to light in Gwalior division. Such eight fake examinees have been caught in Gwalior. Total 167 UFM cases were registered in English examination of class X on Saturday in the State. Out of these, 30 cases were found in Bhind, 18 in Morena and 57 in Damoh.
 
Similarly, in higher secondary examination held on March 14, the Board registered 131 UFM cases out of which 26 cases were registered in Bhind and Morena, while five cases were found in Bhopal Division. In Science paper of class X, 204 cases were registered out of which 29 were of Bhind and 10 were of Morena and 25 cases were of Damoh. Notably, the Board has made special arrangements at sensitive and super sensitive examination centres. The Board has spent huge expenses for this arrangement. Maximum number of super sensitive and sensitive cases have been registered at Gwalior, Bhind and Morena.
 
The Board also runs a pilot project of Live Web Casting at high school and higher secondary examination centres of two districts Bhind and Morena. The project was to be implemented at the examination centres of only two districts Bhind and Morena. This project was held to be run at 20-20 examination centres to prevent any use of unfair means. According to sources, the Board had spent additional amount of around Rs two lakh for better facilities of surveillance at these examination centres. Three special flying squads were also determined by the District Education Officer. As per data of super sensitive and sensitive examination centres, 349 sensitive centres and 472 super sensitive centres were identified in 2018, while 283 sensitive centres and 116 super sensitive centres are identified in 2019.
