Two minor boys killed after Gypsy rams into scooter

In a tragic incident, two minor aged boys were killed and another was critically injured when a speeding Gypsy rammed into their scooter near new by-pass Baroda Mudiya Square under the jurisdiction of Panagar police station. The deceased have been identified as Atishay Jain alias Anshul (15), resident of Bazar Chowk, Lakhnadaun in Seoni district and Mayank alias Yashu Jain (12), resident of Seoni district, while Arihant Jain (15), resident of Sarafa Mohalla in Kotwali, was injured. According to Panagar police, on Saturday evening, they received information of a road accident near new by-pass Baroda Mudiya Square and a police team reached the spot.
 
Police rushed the injured to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. One of the injured named Arihant Jain informed that he, along with Atishay Jain and Mayank Jain alias Yashu, was riding on a scooter bearing registration number MP-20SR-9345 on the way towards Gajrath Mahotsav in Karmeta. They were passing through Baroda Mudiya Chouraha when a speeding Gypsy driven carelessly by the driver, rammed into their scooter. In the mishap, they sustained critical injuries and were rushed to hospital with the help of 108 Ambulance Service.
 
The accused driver managed to escape from the spot and left behind his Gypsy at the spot of accident. In the primary check-up, Atishay Jain alias Anshul was declared brought dead and parents of Yashu Jain admitted him at private hospital, where his condition deteriorated and he succumbed to his critical injuries undergoing treatment at the hospital, on Sunday. Panagar police have registered a case under sections 304 (A), 279 and 337 of the IPC and started investigation to identify and apprehend the accused.
